It is finely painted in underglaze cobalt blue with a compartmentalized décor of ladies and flowers on the outer body, the inner part is painted with flowers and rocks combined with a bat. The base bears an underglaze cobalt blue four-character mark of Emperor Kangxi in kaishu script within a double circle.
