A BLUE AND WHITE 'LADIES AND FLOWERS' PORCELAIN BOWL CHINA, QING DYNASTY, POSSIBLY KANGXI PERIOD It rests on a short unglazed ring foot and has a round body with an everted rim. It is finely painted in underglaze cobalt blue with a compartmentalized décor of ladies and flowers on the outer body, the inner part is painted with flowers and rocks combined with a bat. The base bears an underglaze cobalt blue four-character mark of Emperor Kangxi in kaishu script within a double circle.
