*A TIBETAN STYLE YIXING ZISHA TERRACOTTA TEAPOT AND COVER POSSIBLY BY XU HANTANG 徐汉棠 (1932-) CHINA, 20TH CENTURY Potted after a Tibetan silver teapot model, with a short ring foot, a quatrefoil body, a waisted cylindrical neck and a dome-shaped lid. The handle, shaped as a bow, emanates from the mouth of a mythical beast. So is the spout. The lid is topped by a qilin or Chinese unicorn knob. The base with an impressed seal Xu Hantang, two further impressed seal marks to the inner part of the cover.
