The canvases are in a good condition and attached to the original stretchers. The canvas tension is slightly slack with minor undulations. The paint layers are in stable condition overall. Localised areas of overpaint are mainly in the sky and have a slightly matte appearance. The varnish layers have yellowed with age but are even and glossy with a light layer of surface dirt present.
