A GREEN AND RUSSET JADE 'LION AND CUB' SNUFF BOTTLE18th/19th century Carved in high relief in the 'Master of the Rocks' style through the russet skin to one side with a cub clambering on the back of a seated lion beneath billowing clouds, the reverse inscribed: 金玉滿堂 jingyu mantang (full of gold and jade), the olive green stone with cloudy and russet inclusions to the reverse, the sides with lion mask handles, lapis stopper.
