Nomadic carpet YÖRÜK. ANATOLIA/TURKEY, 20th century, 270x158 cm. A wine-red, stepped diamond adorns the elongated dark blue field, which is decorated in mirror image with mosque vampels and is additionally extended at the top and bottom by a wool-white border stripe. The wool-white main border shows a pattern of large hook motifs. Knotted in beautiful shiny wool. Professionally washed and in beautifully refurbished condition.
