A 19th century painted and gilded terracotta figure of St Michael the Archangel slaying the Dragonthe polychrome painted figure standing upon a faux-marble octagonal plinth, 17in. (43.2cm.) high, restorations and losses.Condition Report: * Both arms have been restored and one has recently been off and has a glued repair. Head and top of both wings have been off and have old restoration with repainting. Four feather's detached from helmet. Chip to tip of dragon's tail, two chips to one of dragon's wings and one of dragon's ears missing. Some paint wear and flaking throughout.
