清代以周礼为蓝本，设计了用于天地、社稷、宗庙等祭祀大典以及朝廷盛事的编钟。一组编钟十六枚，外型和大小相等，分两层悬挂于木架之上，倍夷则、倍南吕、倍无射和倍应钟为四个低音倍律，钟圆体，中空，腰部稍大，小口齐平。顶饰交龙钮，龙背供起成孔，用于穿系。两道弦纹把钟分为三层，上层饰如意云纹，两侧分铸云龙纹，龙纹气势磅礴。钟下方近口处铸音乳，作击打之用。铸造精细严谨，华贵庄重，尽显皇家气派。
