此琴仲尼式，木质苍古，琴面弧度圆厚，黑色髹漆纹，岳山岳尾一体，七弦上起承露，经岳山、龙龈，转向琴底的一对雁足。琴背龙池、凤沼皆为长方形。琴体下部扁平，上部呈弧形凸起，象征天地。佳木良斫，其形端庄，琴体秀美匀称，抚之音色纯厚，余音绵长，琴音清淡风雅，富于韵味，木质纤维肌理细腻。
