「大清嘉庆年制」唇口微撇，短颈，丰肩长圆腹，腹上部贴瓶形耳，圈足略微外撇，其形貌状若灯笼，故有「灯笼瓶」之称。底落「大清嘉庆年制」六字篆书款。炉钧釉是清代雍正时期创烧的低温窑变花釉品种之一，仅仅盛行于雍正、乾隆两朝，嘉庆时期此种作品烧造数量减少。其呈色与故宫博物院藏品类似，红彩泛紫，尚存雍正遗风，在乾隆朝以后的炉钧釉中殊为少见。本件品种与台北故宫博物院藏品相同，可见《清代单色釉瓷器特展目录》，页59，图56；另一例嘉庆者可见北京故宫博物院藏品，著录于《故宫博物院藏文物珍品大系──颜色釉》，页211，图190。
