观音头束发髻，带高耸的花叶宝冠，中央为释迦牟尼化佛，开脸丰腴饱满，眉如弯月，双目微启下视，鼻若悬胆，双唇微启，身着襦裙飘逸，胸前璎珞、手臂钏环严饰全身，左腿平置，右腿屈起，左手抑地，右手扶膝，身躯前倾，姿态优雅高贵。
音自在坐于蒲团之上，下为透空山石，石间有苍龙盘踞，双眼圆睁，身躯粗韧，鳞片毕现，龙爪矫健有力，不怒自威，似乎正在聆听菩萨的教诲，与闲逸的观音菩萨融为一体。
