此几形制质朴端庄，静而不宣，主体以红木制，案面平整，攒框镶瘿木面心，色纹并美，似水面碧波，激起层层涟漪。两侧过渡缓和，与鼓腿连为一线，足端巧作寿桃形，饱满讨喜，灵动有趣。
瘿木，泛指长有结疤的树木，所结之疤称为“瘿结”，多生于树腰或树根处，是树木病态增生的结果。瘿木纹理新颖奇特，多用作台面心板，与红木色泽十分协调。
