A Javanese Bronze Figure of Kubera Java, Indonesia, 10th-11th century Seated in lalitasana on a cushion placed on a square base behind two elephants, its lower rim with eight jewel filled vases, his hands holding a bowl and a mongoose, the pot-bellied figure, wearing dhoti, and bejewelled with udarabandha, the face with bulging eyes and hair dressed in a chignon, with green patina (some losses, and wear consistent with age).
