此尊精铜所铸，胎体厚重，圆口唇沿，粗颈稍束，饰焦叶纹，两侧铸双鋬耳，并悬以圆环，弧腹饱满丰腴，圈足，通身饰有网状绳络纹，绳结缠绕仿佛麻丝所制，造型极为写实，底承圈足。
拍品之形制源自挂绳络之陶罐，铜制绳络纹尊战国已有之，后世多有仿制，尤以明末清初之时为盛。
