此器时代风格鲜明，系清仿三代酒器“觯”制作而成，可称之为“觯式尊”，或为插花之用。圆体，撇口，颈部稍束，两侧铸中空贯耳，颈部、耳部在云雷纹地上饰兽面纹，腹部丰腴，腹下渐收，底承外撇高圈足，足墙饰以双弦纹。
觯为酒器，乃饮酒之杯。《说文·角部》：“觯，乡饮酒角也。《礼》曰，一人洗举觯，觯受四升。”《礼记·礼器》：“尊者举觯。”郑玄注：“三升曰觯。”觯又称鍴，春秋晚期义楚鍴铭：“义楚之祭端。”此为鍴之用于祭祀者。
