拍品以碧玉雕琢而成，整体呈长方形，中间以浮雕方式雕刻出葫芦造型，正面背面分别浮雕“大吉”“天喜”葫芦因其形似「吉」字，因而书「大吉」二字，寓意子孙万代连绵不绝，为经典的祝寿题材作品，整器之形规范端庄，为清代宫廷制品，为乾隆时期工艺的精品之作。葫芦造型渊源流长，于新石器时代仰韶文化半坡类型和史家文化时期起，就有葫芦式陶瓶出现，至于唐宋元明时期，皆有众多的神话传说和艺术品与之相关。葫芦又因多籽，寓有多子多孙之吉祥喻义，清代便将葫芦瓶作为喜祥用器陈设于宫廷中，此器展现了彼时宫廷造办处玉雕工艺之巧妙，完美地体现了中国传统艺术薪火相传、推陈出新的生机和魅力.
