款识：甲乙年初冬之月，绍堂郑贻林书。
郑贻林，字登如，号绍堂，福建泉州人。生于清咸丰十年（1860），二十二岁自福建泉州迁居鹿港。工书法，擅长篆刻，以隶书特别著名，为台湾少数碑帖派书法家之一，与当时鹿港书法名家郑鸿猷齐名。。于明治卅年(1897)与鹿港洪弃生、许剑渔,苑里蔡启运,聚集两地文人,成立「鹿苑吟社」。民国十四年去世，享年六十五岁。
