A refined ensemble of 9 ceramic bowls - 8 Sawankhalok and 1 Anamese - all embellished with blue-painted floral, geometric, and abstract motifs on a lustrous white glaze. Each dish sits upon a ring-form base with walls that gracefully rise to a gently flared rim over a deep basin. The 8 Sawankhalok vessels present floral tondos at their centers, scrolling designs on their interior walls, hexagonal patterns on their exteriors. Alternatively, that Anamese bowl boasts stylized, phytomorphic decoration at the bottom of its basin, a band of squares on the interior of its rim, and spiraling vegetal designs with petaloid motifs on the exterior walls.
