赏析：此盒呈圆形，子母口。盒内壁及底髹黑漆。盒外壁黄漆地上髹红漆雕饰，盒盖以锦纹为地，主纹雕一整朵灼灼盛开的牡丹花魁，花朵极尽雍容华贵，花瓣伸张舒卷，千娇百媚，柔丽迷人，不愧花中之后。花间衬托以挺拔的枝叶，漆面起伏婉转，花叶筋脉以阴线刻出，大气之中不乏细腻，物象轮廓清晰。此盒雕工极美，花瓣、花蕊刻画细腻，刀刀入微；周边枝蔓缠绕，花叶翻卷，枝叶肥厚，筋脉舒卷有力，更显华贵雍容，可玩可藏，赏心悦目，实为一件清早期雕漆精品。 参阅：台北故宫博物院藏，清 剔红牡丹小圆盒。（与拍品同类）
