此件玉瓶为黄玉制成，玉质细腻温润，局部带红色璞皮。器型模仿自高古青铜壶造型，直口鼓腹，下承圈足。瓶口外沿装饰一周阴刻回纹，瓶颈左右两侧各雕一象首，象鼻向下卷曲连接于瓶身，带有圆形活环。腹部雕刻牡丹纹，花叶饱满。此件器物形体虽小，但其集古朴的青铜意味与文人雅气相结合，造型端庄，雕工细致，是一件精美的黄玉文房陈设器物。
