此像以铜为质，铸雕童子瞬间的动态，生动鲜活。通体包浆油润，皮壳盈亮，蜡茶古色，视之丰腴，抚之滑腻。
孩童双腿前后分列，右手举灵芝，左手持财宝，配合动姿，头部微右转，双眼前视，圆睁有神，鼻头立体饱满，笑意盈盈，上身袒露，颈戴如意锁，身背花觚形宝瓶，下着长裤，腰际束带打结，跣足而立。
整器人物造型生动写实，体现出高超的工艺水平，童子像为传统题材，多见于明清玉雕，此品以铜造像呈现，结合了如意、财宝、瓶多种元素，体现出平安如意、多子多寿、福禄吉祥的非凡寓意。
