拍品撇口、长颈、扁圆腹，圈足微移，足内施白釉。外壁满施霁红釉，霁红釉是烧造工艺难度较大的高温颜色釉品种。在《景德镇陶歌》中亦称：“管古窯成重霁红，最难全美费良工。霜天睛昼精心合，一样传烧百不同。”由此可知，烧造一件颜色均匀亮丽的霁红釉器，并非易事。拍品烧造品质上乘、品相上佳者更为难得，殊堪珍藏。
