提要：陈寿祺（1771-1834），字恭甫，一字苇仁，号左海，福建福州人。嘉庆间进士。与张惠言、王引之齐名，是清代嘉道间重要的经学大家。认为两汉经师莫先于伏生，莫备于东汉许慎、郑玄。乃搜集汉儒旧说，阐明遗书，于嘉道间陆续刊行，后汇印为《三山陈氏家刻左海全集》，共计十种，辑本均较旧辑为胜。此《洪范五行传》为陈氏《左海全集》汇印前单行印本，与汇印本相较，此本开本阔大，印工优良，卷前无汇印增刻牌记。卷端有陈氏钤印二，内中天头、正文偶有陈氏校字。应为书印成之后，陈氏自留之本。
