提要：是书深棕色真皮精装，五层竹节背书脊，封面封底书脊描金压花，三面刷金。此书为透纳画集，内收透纳版画120幅，均为钢板版画，每幅图均有William Cosmo Monkhouse的描述性文字。
透纳，全名约瑟夫·马洛德·威廉·透纳（Joseph Mallord William Turner，1775-1851），英国著名艺术家之一，19世纪上半叶英国学院派画家的代表，技艺最为精湛的艺术家之一，图形艺术家。以善于描绘光与空气的微妙关系而闻名于世，尤其对水气弥漫的掌握有独到之处。其对光线及色调的兴趣超过形体，为日后印象派画风格的形成奠定了基础。
