此书上图下文，收图百余幅，古朴清晰，初刻初印，保存品相上佳。展卷南宋建派之风宛然拂面。此本所据南宋建安余仁仲本，扉页刊有“南宋余氏本，扬州阮氏影抚重刊”牌记。据卷首阮福序可知，原为明内府珍藏，后归钱谦益、钱曾、顾之逵，再入阮元家。此本全影宋式，如宋时俗写字“斈”“国”之类，皆不校改，以存宋本之旧。
