拍品原装两函十二册二十四卷全，明万历周文炜大业堂刻本。半页八行，行十八字，白口，四周单边，无行格，前有江进元、虞长孺、陈继儒等序，虞序为万历二十五年。卷下有“南雍周文炜如山镌”。周文炜，字赤之，号如山，河南大梁人，后迁南京，国子监监生。子周亮工为明末清初著名文学家。周文炜天启二年任浙江诸暨县主簿，后左迁王府官，遂辞官拂衣还白下（南京）从事刻板印刷业。周文炜有“光霁堂”、“大业堂”、“醉畊堂”等书坊。著有《观宅四十吉祥相》、《暨阳纪略》、《五泄苎萝逸事》等。周氏家族称得上明清之际一个显赫的刻书、著书世家，其刻书活动至少持续了四代。仅周文炜刻书现存可考的就有二十余种。
