刘世祯自甲子年（1924年）起，尝试为湘古本伤寒论作注，惟力有未逮，嘱刘仲迈继之，至甲戌年（1934年）方演绎成《伤寒杂病论义疏》一书，凡十六卷。书封何键署签。原装，品相完美。据刘世祯自称，因母丧，于江西某山谷中遇“张老”，张老授以古本《伤寒杂病论》，与世传本不同，遂阐述师传及个人所体会的本义，并由刘瑞瀜疏通引证，补充发挥。其学术见解颇有异同。
