王澍（1668-1743），康熙进士，以书法名世，又精碑版鉴定。自秘阁帖出，以其真伪杂出，错乱失序，颇为识者病焉。王澍便考诸家，博取群书，详悉考镜，使阁帖十卷，是非异同，皆有依据，是考订阁帖诸家中最为完备精当者。此书原刻为清代雍正间诗鼎斋名刻，与清精刻白眉《冬心先生集》颇类，同出名家吴郡邓弘文、刘茂生之手。清末版归常熟鲍氏后知不足斋，此册即鲍氏修版后所印。全书字体点划遒劲，原装善品。
