铭文：临潭异产，体质坚贞。鹦鹉之号，鸜鹆之精。刓割为田，佐我笔耕。轻沤其水，静新其声。朴同宣圣，润超方平。种之耨之，藏不呼庚。余三余九，宜相宜卿。绳绳继继，吾道大亨。晓泉仁兄大人珍藏，民国八年秋日古龙城沈佰良题于陇东镇守使署。 1.古代洮河砚非常难得，晚清时期虽然又开采制作了一些，但大多造型民俗。此砚尺寸硕大，为喇嘛崖优质砚材，且形制方正，制作精良，显系精心订制之物。 2.铭文至为精美，八十八字文采斐然，蕴含众多典故，在洮河砚中属极为罕见的精品。
