|铜胎掐丝珐琅是以铜丝勾勒纹饰轮廓，内填珐琅料烧制而成的铜器，颜色艳丽、富贵，在明清时期是极为难得的高等级用品，清宫旧藏中即有不同造型的掐丝珐琅器。此件香熏炉为朝冠耳式，圆腹，束颈，下承三兽首形足。盖顶设铜鎏金錾刻缠枝莲纹宝珠钮，盖面镂开如意头形开光，内錾刻缠枝花卉纹，可供焚香时香气逸出，其余部分则饰掐丝珐琅缠枝莲纹。炉身通体以掐丝珐琅为饰，颈部饰云蝠纹，肩部饰变形莲瓣纹，耳、腹、足饰缠枝花卉纹，三足兽施以鎏金装饰，颇为威猛。全器工艺精湛，鎏金灿烂，纹饰繁密，为难得的陈设用器。||参阅：《中国金银玻璃珐琅器全集6·珐琅器二》，页60，图82，河北美术出版社，2002年8月
