|此镜镜框以精铜所造，镜面整体呈倭角菱花形，镜框及手柄采用铜胎掐丝珐琅工艺装饰，以蓝料为地，装饰蝙蝠花卉等吉祥纹饰；镜托采用镂雕工艺雕琢出宝相花造型托起镜面，通体鎏金，鎏金保存情况良好。背面镶嵌紫檀，以阴线雕琢“卐”字锦地纹，中间减地雕阳纹“寿”字，两侧留白雕阴文：“慈禧太后御笔，光绪二十年十月十五日”。框做菱花形，色泽沈穆厚重，包浆润泽，满雕卷草纹，连绵不绝，团团如意。花纹线条细腻雅致，工艺臻熟，流畅自然。全器气息富丽华贵，鎏金灿烂，釉彩鲜明，使镜面于富贵之中又呈现出形制庄重、质朴自然的仿古之风。此镜置于室内，光华耀目，低调奢华而满室生辉。
