Y EARLY VICTORIAN ROSEWOOD AND BRASS BANDED DRESSING CASE, CARLISLE & WATTS, EDINBURGH MID 19TH CENTURY the hinged top centred by a brass cartouche engraved M.J. St Clair/ The Honble/ Mrs Charles St. Clair , opening to a fitted interior lined with blue velvet and moroccan leather with a mirror, lift-out tray, and an assortment of glass jars with sterling silver caps, hallmarked London, 1839, with maker s mark GB, probably George Reid, above a base drawer with a writing slope (31cm 18.5cm high, 26cm deep) Note: Please be aware that this lot contains material which may be subject to import/export restrictions, especially outside Great Britain, due to CITES regulations.
