提要：自秦焚书之后，孔子之学不绝如线，雄独起而任之，故韩愈以其与孟、荀并称。此为清中期影宋名刻，晋李轨注，为扬子注本最早。首有江都秦恩復序，云宋景祐嘉祐间有御诏命监学馆阁校订板行，最为精善，乾隆戊寅秦氏购得宋椠孤本，延元和顾千里以其箧中何义门校本对勘，影摹开雕。此本版式字体悉为原样，可谓下宋本一等，书口下有刻工如“李倍、王寿、李询、严忠”等，考《古籍刻工名录》，俱为宋时刻工，亦一一摹录。
