提要：汪子嵩（1921-2004），西南联大1941级学生。著名希腊哲学史学家，学者。1945年于西南联大哲学系毕业，后考入北京大学文科研究所，从陈康先生学习希腊哲学。1949-1964年在北京大学哲学系任教。1964-1987年任人民日报理论部编辑、高级编辑、副主任。曾任中华全国外国哲学史研究会理事长。著有《希腊的民主和科学精神》、《亚里士多德关于本体的学说》等，合著有《希腊哲学史》等。
