提要：是书九行十九字，左右双边，白口，无鱼尾，全品，用纸精良，刊刻极佳，字行疏朗，字体隽秀，开卷令人心仪，有浓郁旧书香，边缘老化自然，署手书“戊午春仲诵芬室仿明本精刊”。《盛明杂剧》为明沈泰编，分一集、二集两编。每编各收明代人所作杂剧剧本三十种，总共六十种。“盛明”是对明王朝的颂扬，意谓明朝是太平盛世，并非指明朝的昌盛时期，故其书中所收的杂剧，实始于明代前期，终于明代末期。全书可视为整个明代杂剧的选集。
