A 20th Century Chinese Republic period Oriental hand carved wooden jewellery casket vanity box. The case being intricately decorated with repeating floral medallions and depictions of birds of paradise with circular brass lock plate. The hinged lid opening to reveal a fully appointed red silk lined interior with ring compartments and central spacious storage section. Complete with original brass lock and key. Measures approx; 9cm x 23cm x 14cm. Good condition.
