A slender gold posy ring with a circumferential medial rib to the exterior, 'Content is a treasur' inscribed to the interior of the hoop; maker's mark 'TS' stamped in a rectangular cartouche, possibly for the London ringmaker Thomas Sharp. Cf. The British Museum, museum number 1961,1202.471, for a very similar ring with what appears to be the same maker's mark. 1.21 grams, 18.15 mm overall, 15.72 mm internal diameter ( approximate size British J 1/2, USA 5, Europe 9.32, Japan 9) (5/8 in.).
