A gilt bronze crowned Tara figure modelled half-nude in the round, seated on a lotus flower dais, hands held in the mudra for induction, her skirt densely covered in scrolling motifs, her belt, neck ornaments, earrings and arm bangles 'bejewelled', vining flowers winding around her arms and bursting into bloom at shoulder height; floral stamp to base. 4.44 kg, 33 cm high (13 in.).
