A biconical terracotta bead with dense series of decorative prick marks to one face, prick marks to the neck with series of horizontal lines bisecting a medial band to the other. 8.76 grams, 23 mm (3 1/2 in.). Acquired from children in Sirkap, Taxila, Pakistan, in 1946. From the collection of Ibrahim Kara with reference numbers 40 and 1/17. Property of an Essex gentleman.
