Early 16th century A.D. An oval-shaped wooden food dish with splayed walls and two ledge handles. 650 grams, 43.4 cm length (17 in.). From Quito, Ecuador. Acquired early 1970s. Zuckerman collection, by descent from her grandparents. The dish was produced in the period between the Inca conquest of Ecuador and the Spanish conquest of the Inca. [No Reserve]
