Antique Viennese Figural Carved and Giltwood Mirror, Signed circa 1880, ornately carved arched form between two acanthus baluster form columns, Neoclassical style female to center having arms outstretched over two gilt oval wreath frames mirrors and twelve round mirror surround, surmounted by two winged putto holding a monogrammed and crowned cartouche, all above a gilt banner in partially worn hand-painted German script with commemorative dates "1830 /1880," verso with carved signature "Ad:Harthan. / Wien.1880." 43 1/2 x 47 1/2 x 5 in. 品相报告: Some vertical cracks, primarily to center; some silver loss to mirrors, some mirrors likely later; some areas of loss to carved elements including a few acanthus leaves and left garland near column capital; scattered rubbing to gilt.
