Italian Classical Majolica pottery center bowl with lobed border accented by (3) Northwind masks displaying extended tongues. Interior of bowl depicts a lounging beauty admiring herself in a mirror held by a putti. Exterior of bowl with agrape and wine motif. Underside inscribed, "1228 Italy" with an undetermined pictorial mark. From a Long Island, NY estate. Dimensions: bowl measures approx. 14.75" w x 14.5" d x 9.25" h. Condition: Good, with light surface scratches and minordings/dents. Some edge chips and/or abrasions.
