筒瓶在晚明清初甚为流行，大者似大象腿部，又称“象腿瓶”，小者则惯称为筒瓶。本品撇口，束颈，溜肩，长腹直筒，细砂底，胎体厚重，瓶内外施釉匀净泛青，瓶体以青花绘翠竹顽石，一鸟栖竹鸣啼，时代风格鲜明，整体秀气自然，画面生动，层次丰富，青花发色艳丽，时代风格鲜明，在同等器物中别具一格，为崇祯青花瓷中的佼佼者。崇祯时期，国势衰退，内忧外患，时局动荡，政权于风雨飘摇之中，此种造型的流行也寓有期盼“天下一统”的良好祝愿，故亦称“一统瓶”。
