墨彩，瓷器釉上彩的一种。是以艳黑为主，兼用观红、本金等彩料在白釉面上描绘图案，经彩炉烘烤而成。墨彩为五彩、珐琅彩、粉彩瓷器中常见色彩之，墨彩始见于清朝康熙中期，流行于雍正、乾隆朝并一直延续直清末、民国时期。墨彩瓷的烧制方法是在烧成白中泛青的瓷釉上绘画上水墨彩，然后经低温烧成。墨彩以水墨彩绘为主，并加以部分粉彩，如蓝粉、淡黄等彩色，但在每件器物画面上所施加的粉彩面并不大，仅起到点缀的作用，这种画面处理方法以雍正时期最为突出。
