Mahogany and leaded glass. pendant wisteria blossoms in mottled and striated textured opalescent glass, supported by leafage and vines overhanging an opalescent glass diagonal trellis on clear glass, the sidelights, en suite. Sides 18 x 86 in. Note: Louis C. Tiffany (1848–1933) designed this style of window—colorless glass in a latticework pattern crowned by a magnificently blooming vine—to bring the outdoors inside. His company, Tiffany Studios, produced thousands of leaded-glass windows to decorate public buildings, private homes, and houses of worship with diverse flowers and plants.
