Cast of massive and heavy bronze, with neatly incised detail work. China, Qing dynasty, most likely second half of the 18th century
Decorated with five circumferential borders, two showing archaistic designs, two with a stylized chrysanthemum petal design, and one with peonies and other flowers surrounded by tendrils and leaves, all incised and engraved in partial relief.
Shape: Round, sprawling from up to down
Dimensions: Diameter 28 cm.
Condition: Solid age patina. Extensive corrosion inside. The inner bottom sheet re-attached. Overall good condition.
