2 Chinese Bronze & Copper Traveling Ink Boxes, each missing a stone surface to inside cover for grinding the inkstick; the first is oval with 2 holes base & cover, for suspension in one end, the cover with a design of calligraphy and orchids; together with a rectangular box with the cover molded with bamboo and with a seal to base. Width of rectangular box 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm.). PROVENANCE: Private collection, New York.
