PROVENANCE: Discovered in the 1990's under 230 feet of the South China Sea, the majority of items from the salvage of the "Hoi An Wreck" were donated to Museums including 6 Museums in Vietnam and the remainder were sold by Butterfield & Butterfield, San Francisco in 2000. Each bowl in this lot retains its original "Hoi An Hoard / Saga - Visal" numbered sticker and corresponding numbered bar-code sticker.
