Pair of Chinese blue and white pin dishes, Kangxi (1662-1722) painted with buddhist symbolism to the border enclosing a scene of figures in a garden setting, approx 10.6 cms diameter. (af) This lot includes a further small bowl, Kangxi (1662-1722) profusely painted with flowers with geometric border approx 6.5 x 7 x 4 cms.   Note: William Booth (1856-1928) collector of antiques including Chinese blue and white and Delft ware, he had a two day sale of his collection in April 1927 where many of these porcelain pieces were purchased by Cecil Bullivant. Cecil was a family friend of the present owner who bequeathed them to the vendors parents and thus down through the family.
