|来源|香港藏家旧藏||参阅|《故宫博物院七十年论文选》，《陶瓷装饰纹样—「吴牛喘月」考》，杨静荣||盏厚唇深腹，口沿下方作一凸起弦纹，弧腹渐收成矮圈足，碗内外满施青釉，垫足装烧，足底刮釉，足际见支烧时留下的粘砂。胎色青灰，烧结程度高，坚实致密。釉色青绿，滋润光亮。碗心刻划犀牛望月图，图案生动形象，层次感强烈，十分难得。|「犀牛望月」图也称「吴牛喘月」，语出《世说新语·言语》：「（满）奋曰：臣犹吴牛，见月则喘。」刘孝标注：今之水牛唯生江淮间，故谓之吴牛也。南土多署，而牛畏热，见月疑是日，所以见月则喘。此种纹饰也见于定窑，磁州窑等瓷器上。
