鸟笼为正方形，稳重大气，笼以挺拔的竹条编制而成，笼丝纤细，打磨圆润，极见制作者功力。笼内设有横枨，为鸟雀落脚所用，瓷质鸟食罐，小巧精美。笼上置铜钩，呈竹节之状，钩下为铜制圆形盖板，鸟笼用料考究，朴素雅致，彰显养鸟之人悠然快哉的意趣心境。
